Lists of online supermarkets in Malaysia

We buy a lot of things via the internet: air tickets, pizza, clothes and, from group-buying sites like Groupon, deals on spas and dinners. As I was not feeling too well and my kitchen is almost empty, I thought why don’t we do marketing online too? So I did some research and found a few websites offering to deliver groceries to my doorstep!

tesco is best. i tried and i am very happy with their prompt service. plus they give discounts in line with their store on the same day the goods are delivered. the best part is their prices so far i found are the cheapest in town, really competitive. flat delivery rate of rm10 is a plus point. as i have three kids, going to shop at tesco store is a chore for me, shop online and with goods delivered to my door, not only hassle free, my kids dont stand a chance to make me buy things i dont want to.

That’s a good point: not being pressured by kids to buy junk food! We also enjoy shopping at TESCO e-shop. But we’re looking forward to try other online supermarkets to see how the rest fare.

Never knew that there were this many online grocery shopping places in town. Which of these have you actually tried ? In your opinion, which has the best value ?

Well, thanks for the info ! I’ll let you know my experience if I bring myself to do it. Time to restock the fridge !

We were surprise too. So far, we’ve only tried TESCO which we’ve written here

We are planning to try out the rest soon. The next would probably be Presto. Price-wise, we did not do any comparison. Currently, we’re wondering about the reliability, ease of shopping, convenience, delivery charges & range of products of these online shops (you can’t get bacon at TESCO but you can get it at other online shops).

Nice post and with updates too!

What do you think about same day delivery maybe paying a bit of extra charge? I don’t see many offering this service?

We haven’t notice or tried same day delivery. Perhaps, its too difficult for supermarkets to arrange this service.

When picking out maternity tops, make sure you pick tops that allow for
breast expansion. So, if you are looking for some
tips on how to buy a womens winter coat, you have reached
just the right place. Go for a romper, the short version of the
jumpsuit. That impression comes from the fact that latex has a texture and a body that is different from the conventional textiles.
