No-cook, super easy spaghetti aglio olio (5 ingredients, 20 minutes)

Quick CookAglio olio is easy to cook but difficult to master. If you’re not skilled, why not make ‘no-cook’ aglio olio. Except boiling the spaghetti, you don’t have to use the stove to cook it.

We learned this dish from a dear friend, Carmen, who is caring for Palazzo boutique restaurant and a one year old daughter. As she has little time to cook, she came over for a potluck party with a beautiful dish of spaghetti aglio olio made in less than half an hour.

INGREDIENTS
(serves 8)

> Spaghetti……………………………………..750 g
> Garlic, minced………………………………5 cloves
> Sea salt…………………………………………5 teaspoon
> Black pepper, powder…………………….2 teaspoon
> Basil, fresh……………………………………1/4 cup

TUTORIAL

  1. In a pot of boiling water, cook spaghetti.
  2. Mix minced garlic, sea salt, pepper and olive oil. (To make it taste much better, put garlic cloves, black peppercorn into a blender or mash them in pestle and mortar).
  3. Mix the sauce with cooked spaghetti.
  4. Garnish with basil leaves. If you like, sprinkle crispy bacon on it.
