How to improve your digestion naturally? 5 simple ways

Sedentary lifestyle, poor diet, irregular meals and stress lead to many digestive problems such as constipation, heartburn and bloating. If your stomach often uncomfortable, here are some natural way to make it better.

1. Chew your food

2. Have warming spices
Warming spices such as ginger, tumeric (kunyit), cardamom (pelaga), cinnamon (kayu manis) are good for digestion.

3. Include flaxseed in your diet
Flaxseed helps slugging digestion. A recommended dosage is three tablespoon of soaked or crushed flaxseed daily. (source: Healing With Whole Food, page 117)

4. Don’t drink while eating
It is said that drinking water during meal with dilute your digestive enzymes. Instead of gobbling a whole glass of water, take sips during meal.

5. Eat warming, cooked food

    Our version of chicken soup is to chop the whole chicken as much as possible and fold it before putting on top of the small bowl. You can try this and more nutrients will come out from the chicken after using a traditional steam pot. Cooking time – 3-4 hours. Best by using charcoal stove.
