DIY Green Tea Mask. Exfoliating & Anti-aging.

At JewelPie, we believe in pampering our skin not only through beauty products we buy off the shelves, but through nutritious food and homespa. One of our favorite homemade mask is green tea mask with yoghurt. Not only it is effective, its easy to make and has a wonderful smell of earthy green tea.

This mask is good for dry, mature skin. Green tea is rich in polyphenol, a chemical which slow down damage to your skin due to the harsh environment. Yoghurt on the other hand is a natural exfoliator.

Pour yoghurt into a clean bowl. Add a tablespoon of powdered green tea into the mask. Mix well. With a brush, spread an even layer of the mixture over your face and neck. Leave the mask on your face until dry. It takes about 15 minutes. Rinse of the mask with cool water; gently remove the residue with your fingers, using a circular motion to massage the face. Pat your face dry.

Wonderful guide, now we know your secret! Have you tried the “5 tibetan rites”? I’ve been doing them since the past few months and have experienced the some positive anti-aging effects (more energy, better skin etc.)

About 15 – 20 minutes will do. At JewelPie, we believe in moderation. Perhaps once a week? More is fine too.
