Chinese Herbal Chicken Soup (3 things, 20 minutes!)

Quick Cook

At a Chinese household, having a bowl of soup daily is a form of pampering. It is believed that soup that is boiled for hours using bones, meat and fresh ingredients is good for nourishing the body. A good pot of soup typically takes about three hours to boil; a rather long time that modern people like you and I may not have.

How to boil soup faster?
To make it faster, we use a thermal cooker. Thermal cooker is essentially a thermos. When a pot of boiling soup of 100 degree Celcius is placed in the thermal cooker, it would maintain the temperature hence continue boiling it.

Are you based in Malaysia? You can find them at electrical or departmental stores. I know of Le Gourmet and Azure Oasis. Hope it helps!
