Banana yoghurt with nuts & chia seeds

We constantly keep ourselves updated on general well-being and find realistic way eat better. Health articles from quality news such as New York Times and classic books on alternative medicine such as Paul Pitchford’s Healing With Whole Food, dispensed great advise on a healthy living. From our studies, a good diet is in vain without a good digestive system.

Though dairy products are not especially recommended and homemade food are more superior, we find that one of the easiest way to get our dose of probiotic is through a tub of store-bought yoghurt. It’s not the only food we rely on to get beneficial bacteria, we also make ginger ale and kimchi.

Instead of flavoured yoghurt, we like to buy plain, unsweetened yoghurt. We prefer to get natural sweetness from fruits and honey. A simple and healthy way to enjoy a cup of yoghurt is top it with sliced banana and whatever nuts you have in hand.
